Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-12-20T01:38Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-12-20T01:38:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
U: Unknown
Note: CME seen to the east in STEREO A COR2 and SOHO LASCO C2/C3. The start of the CME is not seen in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 due to a data gap from 2024-12-19T21:36Z to 2024-12-20T02:00Z. There is not a clear source on the disk, but there is some activity seen as moving field lines on the east limb leading up to the CME, around latitude S10, starting at 2024-12-19T22:27Z.

Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
